It's just a little magic... 

After school, the girls wanted to "do" something instead of going right to homework, so we decided to play with my my camera again and try another fun shot. Sarah liked the results of the "heart jar" so much that she wanted to do something again.

We have tried the "levitation" trick before, with an umbrella ~ and they were game to give it another go! This is one that we tried... tomorrow you'll see another! :)

Found this new little book after reading about the idea of a five-year journal on Ali Edwards' blog. This one has me intrigued -- each day a new question; some simple (What TV show did you last watch?); some requiring more thought (How do you define home?) I love the idea that I'll fill this out, each day of the year and then do it all over again and again -- seeing if there are trends or patterns, and being able to look back one question at a time at where I was.

Fun.

I love catching them unaware like this, having together time. They have been having so much fun just being a "pair" over the past few weeks (with a few minor scrimmages in between) that it has been lovely to see. They play barbies and My Little Ponies and more than anything, Legos. Then today, I found them back having some Nintendo fun. I love the cycles of the toys!

Don't you love this happy creature? This is Ainsley's scarecrow - and I think she is just adorable. Now she cheers up my kitchen windowsill on these gloomy winter days.
